Lost Forever

Waste everywhere is all I see,

Rising in a tower of blackening doom,

I tried to make my way ahead,

Sweeping off the dust and gore with a broom.

It parted as I moved forward,

Only to close the path ahead,

I kept on sweeping furiously,

But it  started messing with my head.

Broken homes and broken dreams,

Floating toys and cans of beans,

Dust and muck creeping everywhere,

Mutilated souls shouting muffled screams.

Invisible hands caught me soon,

I slipped and fell down into a crevice,

I cried for help but God just smiled,

The filth pulled me down into the abyss.

And I was Lost Forever…
